Chris Longmuir is the winner of the 2009 Dundee International Book Prize for her debut novel, Dead Wood, a gritty and tense thriller that sees a psychotic killer tangle with a crooked Dundonian crime boss. Inspired by the infamous murders in Templeton woods, the book has achieved immense local success and word is spreading throughout Scotland and beyond of this author's talent.
